Why join CCEP?

CCEP is the industry's first professional certification built specifically for private-practice credentialing & payer enrollment — designed by the team that has credentialed 1,000+ providers across specialties, payers, and states.

How is CCEP different from NAMS CPCS or CPES certification?

NAMSS certifications are built for hospital and health system professionals. The CPCS explicitly excludes payer enrollment from its content, and the CPES is focused on hospital-side enrollment workflows. Neither certification is designed for professionals working in independent specialty practices — which is a completely different environment with different payers, timelines, tools, and dynamics. The CCEP™ was purpose-built for that world.

What if I don't pass the exam on my first try?

We'll share specific retake policies when the program launches. Our goal is to prepare you thoroughly so that the exam reflects what you already know — not to create a barrier. The curriculum is specifically designed around the exam content, and practice questions throughout the course mirror the final exam format.

How long does the course take?

CCEP is fully self-guided. All five modules are available from day one, so you can move as quickly as you like; most participants complete each module in 3 to 5 hours. You have 90 days to finish, and live Q&A sessions are recorded if you can't attend.

Do I need prior credentialing experience to take this course?

No. The CCEP™ is designed to be accessible to motivated beginners — people new to a credentialing role, career-changers entering healthcare operations, or practice staff who've been handed credentialing responsibilities without formal training. More experienced specialists will also benefit by filling in gaps and formalizing what they've learned on the job.
