Yes, CCEP^™ is fully self-guided. All five modules are available from day one, so you can move as quickly as you like; most participants complete each module in 3 to 5 hours. You have 90 days to finish, and live Q&A sessions are recorded if you can't attend.

The proctored CCEP^™ exam has 45 questions, combining multiple choice with scenario-based questions that test practical knowledge, not just memorization. The curriculum is built around the exam content, and practice questions throughout the course mirror the final exam format.

You earn the CCEP^™ credential, valid for three years, with a digital badge and PDF certificate via Credly that you can share on LinkedIn and with employers. You also receive one year of access to the CCEP^™ Expert Forum.

The Expert Forum is a private online community exclusively for individuals who have passed the certification exam. It's a peer-to-peer space to ask payer-specific questions, share intel on payer contacts and timelines, and connect with other specialists. Your first year of access is included; renewal is $199 per year after that.

CCEP^™ certification is valid for three years. When it's time to renew, recertification is $299.
